What you can expect

First

Petrohue Falls

After you are picked up at your cruise port or hotel, you will ride onboard your air-conditioned private vehicle and begin your journey to Petrohue Waterfalls. Once we get to Vicente Peres Rosales National Park where the Petrohue River Waterfalls are, you'll then embark on an easy walk with your guide to a pathway that leads to the falls. You will see waterfalls tumbling over a lip of volcanic rock, with waters turning beautiful shades of blue and green. Surrounded by a thick forest, the falls stand against the gorgeous backdrop of Osorno Volcano, making for amazing photo opportunities.

Volcano Osorno Ski Resort

Enjoy the scenic drive up Volcano Osorno until you reach the ski resort area. Here, you can explore by foot during free time or even take the ski lifts which operate year round. Marvel from the top at Volcano Calbuco (Volcano Osorno's neighbor) and the breathtaking Llanquihue Lake.

Snack time!

At lunch time, while enjoying the view from the top of Volcano Osorno, we will give you a delicious baked beef Chilean empanada and a glass of Chilean red wine to go with it (white wine will also be available)! For our vegetarian friends, notify us at time of booking.

Ensenada-Llamas & Alpacas

What a better way to stretch your legs, get some fresh air and enjoy the view than to stop at a llama farm. Your guide will offer you some "llama food" which you can use to feed the llamas with your own hands. Bring hand sanitizer if you plan on petting these furry friends! They'll love you if you feed them and will let you take all the pictures you want.
Next

Puerto Varas

Puerto Varas You will head back south to the town of Puerto Varas. Puerto Varas was colonized by German settlers and is known for its German traditions, beer seafood, natural scenery and luxurious hotels. This town is located on the shores of Llanquihue Lake and the perfect cone of Osorno Volcano and the snow-capped peaks of Mt. Calbuco and Mt Tronador are visible from the lakefront. You can enjoy having a German beer (madein Chile) or walking around town filled with fragrant roses and historical statues that represent the history and founding of the town. If you enjoy shopping for souvenirs to take back home or simply enjoy looking at the local crafts this is a great place to do it.

Laguna Verde (Bonus, only if time allows)

For our cruise passengers, our priority is for you to have enough time in Petrohue, Volcano Osorno ski resort and Puerto Varas and most importantly meet our promise of over 20 years to be back to the cruise ship on time. So after Petrohue and if time allows your expert guide will assess if time allows you to visit Laguna Verde. Located in the same national park as Petrohue Waterfalls, Laguna verde is a lake hidden along a pathway in a thick forest of Coihue trees. Volcanic rock guides the path to the lake, which is a short and easy walk of about 7-10 minutes with your guide. The mysterious and breathtaking emerald color of the lake is due to a microscopic algae and minerals in the water. Legend says that whoever drinks from its waters will have good luck for the rest of his or her life.
Finalize

Angelmo (fish market and craft market)

We will now head back to the pick-up (cruise port or hotel), but before, we offer you the chance to go and visit Angelmó, the largest craft shop in the city and also where you can find some of the freshest seafood in town. Delight yourself with ceviche, or some fresh oysters. This is optional, those that wish to go will be taken and those who wish to be dropped off will be dropped off at the pick-up.
