A little bit about Gail and Veronica:

Gail was born and raised in the "Blue Mountains" of Eastern Oregon. Veronica was born and raised in Puerto Montt. They met and fell in love while working in Alaska and decided to spend their lives together in Chile.

Veronica's inherent knowledge of the best spots to visit; both Gail and Veronica's command of the English language along with their mutual love for people made creating a business conducting tours a natural choice.

All it took was to look around at what was currently being offered; ie. bus tours with 100 people crowded together and tours with strict time constraints and prescheduled stops. They wanted to offer something different - something with a lot more personal attention to a smaller group of people. They began this business almost 7 years ago and while it has grown, they still maintain its intimate aspects by keeping it mainly a family affair, thus allowing them to do what they enjoy best -  showing you the beauty of a part of Chile which they know and love.

The Tour:

Intimate Groups

The tour has very few time constraints (usually lasts 6 to 8 hours) and is tailored to the guests desires. The price is $75 per person (about half of the standard 3 or 4 hour bus tour) and includes lunch which consists of Chilean wines; an appetizer; an entree selection of fish, meat or poultry and dessert.

Just let us know how many are in your group and we will advise if there is a spot available. Click Here for Reservations. We can meet you at the pier for cruise lines or at our beautiful and modern new airport.

Comments from tour guests:

My friend and I went ashore in Puerto Montt with no pre-arranged plans. At the port gate we were hustled by male and female taxi drivers whose english was quite poor. Their quotes were all over the place.

Then along came friends from the ship in Gail and Veronica's van who, without haggling invited us to join them. Was that ever nice! No worry about time, except to get us back to the ship before it sailed. We went everywhere and saw so much and did even more! A late lunch with wonderful pisco sours broke the day in a lovely, regional inn. The food was great!!

Lunch

The ship-sponsored tour (at a much higher cost) did not include lunch nor the many out of the way places we visited. Gail and Veronica are a wonderful husband and wife team with excellent competence with the English language. Their generous time made this a very pleasant experience which I hope to repeat.

Gail and Veronica provided us with a fun day in Puerto Montt. They were responsive to the various interests in our small, and diverse, group. Best of all they shipped back to us a camera that we left in their station wagon!! That was a gesture above and beyond the ordinary, we really appreciated it.

Joe,

I saw your name on Gail and Veronica's website. Just wanted to say that they were the most lovliest people. Went with 3 couples in their van and had a great time.

If anyone wants a US reference, let them e-mail me. We were there for Xmas/New Years vacation.

Regards,
